Will Smith Covers Justin Bieber in Slime!

The Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards or the "Green Slime" Awards were announced on 31 March. The ceremony was hosted by "Men in Black" and "Hitch" star Will Smith, who had the audience in stitches with his jokes and one-liners. Incidentally, the green slime, as is the custom at the Nickelodeon Awards every year, did not miss anyone... including the First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez walked away as the principal winners of the night.

Gomez won "Favourite Female Singer" for her work with pop band The Scene, as well as "Favourite TV Actress" for "Wizards of Waverly Place". Adam Sandler won "Favorite Actor" while Taylor Swift was presented the "Big Help Awards" by Michelle Obama. Kristen Stewart earned the title of "Favourite Actress" while Taylor Lautner won "Best Butt Kicker" for his role as werewolf Jacob Black in the vampire romance flicks. Nickelodeon's "Victorious" was named the top TV show.

The night saw performances from stars like Katy Perry and boy band One Direction, who played a number from their new album "Up All Night". According to an online poll, the majority wanted a little green slime to be thrown at Justin Beiber... and host Will Smith obliged them. In fact, the duo created quite some havoc on stage, throwing slime at each other while the audience laughed loud.

An interesting aspect about these awards is that an orange carpet is rolled out instead of a red one... and the awards are made from children-friendly materials.

Orlando Bloom has been voted Most Stylish Celebrity Dad.

The British actor - who has a five-month-old son Flynn with wife Miranda Kerr - beat celebrities including soccer star David Beckham and Hollywood heartthrob Jude Law to take the top spot in the poll, which was conducted by website MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk to mark Father's Day in the UK, which is celebrated this Sunday.

Andy Barr, Marketing Director of MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk, said: "With Father's Day coming in the UK we wanted to put celebrity dads under the fashion spotlight. As a new dad, it was interesting to see Orlando Bloom fly straight into the charts and clinch the top spot as the 'most stylish celebrity dad.' The public evidently likes his eclectic style; and even though he beat David Beckham to the top spot, Beckham still managed to stay very near the top of the style charts with his 'casual' style."

Hollywood Actor Will Smith is frontrunner for Tarantino's next film

Will Smith has emerged as the frontrunner to star in Quentin Tarantino's next film, a spaghetti Western about a slave in the Old South who teams with a German bounty hunter to search for his wife.

Tarantino stalwarts Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz also are circling key parts.

"Django Unchained," Tarantino's follow up to his worldwide blockbuster Inglourious Basterds, will be distributed domestically by the Weinstein Co. but Tarantino is in the process of selecting a studio partner to release the film internationally. Sources say he is meeting with Universal executives today, and similar meetings with Sony, Paramount, Warner Bros. and possibly others have been scheduled.

Sources prepped for those meetings say Tarantino would like Smith to star in the film, the script for which has been making the rounds in recent days to wide acclaim. No official offer has been made to Smith, and any deal would of course be subject to working out financials, which might be difficult given Smith's status as one of Hollywood's few sure-thing stars.

Indeed, although Smith has been out of multiplexes since 2008's "Seven Pounds," he is still considered among the top two or three box office draws worldwide.

Smith is being teed-up for the title role of Django, a freed slave who seeks to reunite with his slave wife, a journey which will see him team up with a German bounty hunter to take down an evil plantation owner.

Tarantino wrote the bounty hunter part with Waltz in mind, according to insiders. The German ends up training Django and helping him seek his wife.

Jackson would play the house slave to the bad guy, Monsieur Calvin Candie. The slave is an expert manipulator and will face off with Django.

Smith and his representatives have received the screenplay, which could be a hot potato due to the themes of racism and the liberal use of the N-word. It's unclear whether Smith has read the script yet. The actor manages his image very carefully but the part is heroic and could be iconic. And let's not forget that Denzel Washington won his two Oscars playing characters who used the N-word.

Tarantino is aiming for a fall shoot in the South, possibly in Louisiana, but the exact locale has not been determined.

Washington's status as a famous black actor was solidified early in his career.

2.Will Smith: When Will Smith appeared in his first acting role as the star of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” who would've thought the young actor would end up an Academy Award nominee? Despite the doubt of many, Smith turned out to be one of the most famous, talented black actors in the showbiz game. With blockbuster after blockbuster, Smith is an unstoppable force.

3.Samuel L. Jackson: Actor Samuel L. Jackson has appeared in over 100 films as of 2011. His films range from dramas such as “A Time to Kill” to action flicks such as “Die Hard with a Vengeance.” With his cool demeanor and sharp wit, Jackson is considered a top actor in Hollywood.

Alec Baldwin will not join Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black 3

The problems with MEN IN BLACK III just keep coming. There’s been problems with the script, which forced a hiatus in between filming last yearand this spring, one of the writers won’t talk to the producers and the budget is reaching epic proportions at $200million so far. And now?

Alec Baldwin has backed out the film due to scheduling conflicts. Baldwin was set to play the head honcho of the 1969 MIB headquarters and who knows who they’ll be able to drum up toreplace him. With all these problems it’ll be amazing if this thing hits its release date of May 25, 2012.

I wish I could say that I’m bummedthat Baldwin is out of MIB3, but honestly this film will probably be such a big fail that it’s good that he won’t have a chance to be involved. I’m really wishing Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones couldback out, but there’s no way that will happen since there’s already been $200 million sunk into the film.
